As the LORD's work is working it's way through our hearts, & we are praying for one another continually, I remember how the LORD has revealed Himself to us through these tough times. We are seeing the reality of 2 Corinthians 1 allows us all to enter into deeper into Him.
Karen & I were listening to some music this morning, Laura Story's song "BLESSINGS" began to play. A line or two into it, we suddenly BOTH found ourselves ... simultaneously ... headed toward the office. Karen looked @ me & said "I'm going to post this on Aslan's Song" ... "Me TOO" ;^) . Since her computer wasn't up yet, I get the honor of sharing this song that is SOOO appropriate for us all right now ... In HIS LOVE ...

"Afraid to let your secrets out... afraid to face your fear... so you hide but you find that the shame won't disappear" ... I LIVED that for so many years, in the last years my walls have come crashing down and the healing has not only begun but so much of it has taken place.
Sparks WILL fly as grace collides with the dark inside of us... I love that line. It reminds me that when I'm battling the old lies, the old darkness I just have to let GRACE win, to let the blood cover me. I'm GOD's girl and as dad reminded me today 'nothing trumps that'!!!
This song reminds me that I must allow my brokenness to be brought into the light before it can be healed. It may be hard to do but oh, it's so worth it.
